Refund policy
The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers as defined in Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

Right of Withdrawal
The customer has the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without providing any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the customer or a third party designated by the customer, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last item.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform us (Motif22 / Alexander Buhler, Frickestrasse 49, 20251 Hamburg) of their decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). The customer may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the customer to send the notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of Withdrawal
Once we have received and inspected the return from the customer, we will refund the customer the amount via the same payment method used in the original order. This may take up to 30 days from the date of return.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until the customer has provided evidence that they have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
The customer must return the goods to us (Alexander Buhler / Motif22, Frickestrasse 49, 20251 Hamburg) without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which they notified us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if the customer sends back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
The customer is only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal:
The right of withdrawal does not apply to distance contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
